New Setup

Go to Start - Settings - Control Panel - Internet Options - Connections - Setup -

"I want to set up my connection manually..." - Next -

"connect through a phone line'" - Next -

Insert your new access number, (such as (909) 752-0552 for Big Bear).- Next -

username (such as bbvdoe) - Next -

BBV.NET - 

Email

If you will be using another email service or www.Hotmail.com, you are now finished. 

You're on. You may have to remove old AOL or other ISPs to allow regular Internet to work, and you should if you are done with them...

Changing Access Number
Click on Start - Settings - Control Panel - Internet Options - Connections - doubleclick BBV.Net (or whatever we are called in the box) - Properties and change the phone number to 752-0552 (Big Bear) or find the best number here.

Click OK on that screen and then change the User name: bbvdoe and Password: yourpasswd. Click OK on that screen and the next. The next time you connect, make sure you continue to use the User name: bbvdoe and Password: yourpasswd.

 
These changes are ONLY for the dialup connection. Your email address, username or password does NOT change.
